System Requirements

healthQueue operates on Microsoft Windows 2000, XP or later operating system. The technical infrastructure can be easily integrated into most HR environments. Typical hardware and software requirements are outlined in the following sections:

Server Hardware Requirements

  • A Microsoft Windows based server (Windows 2000 Server or higher)
  • 20MB of disk space free for the initial installation of application source files and COM objects.
  • 10MB of disk space free for the initial installation of the healthQueue database.

    Server Software Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or higher.
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (Express, Standard or Enterprise Edition).
  • Optional: A Web Server capable of parsing ASPs (Active Server Pages) - typically Microsoft IIS.

    Client Machine Requirements

  • Any machine capable of running a suitable web browser can access the full functionality of healthQueue. Examples are Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 (or later) or Netscape Navigator 4.7 (or later)
  • Cookies must be enabled
  • An email client capable of sending and receiving plain text email, preferrably MS Outlook
